Founded in 1936 as a caffè concerto (coffee concert), Pasticceria Cucchi has been ever since one of Milan’s fashionable meeting spots. Still a great place for breakfast, coffee and tea. Cucchi makes one of the best cappuccinos in Milan and offers a selection of traditional cakes and pastry. A milanese institution for aperitivo.

Since 1909 the historic Taveggia is a great caffe and pastry shop. In 1930 it moved to the current location very close to the Duomo. The original interior design and furnishing are gorgeous. Pastry is very good, the house’s specialties are panettone, rice pudding and pistachio cream croissants. An elegant café with a separate tea room to enjoy great caffe, pastry and cocktails.
